Unified Communications Solutions Consultant | Exeter | £40,000 – £55,000

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are looking for a Unified Communications Solutions Consultant to join our client; a forward thinking, dynamic and growing IT company.

You will form part of a team that provides Unified Communications Pre-sales, installations and assistance in resolving technical issues for customers throughout the UK. You’ll ideally be based within commuting distance from Exeter, you will attend customers sites and have the opportunity to be home based.

If you have a solid understanding of your area of specialisation within Unified Communications with Skype for Business and deemed a subject matter expert this could be the perfect job opportunity for you.

Full UK driving license is required with own car.

THE BASICS:

As UC Solutions Consultant you’ll work with the sales and business development teams to create and maintain the portfolio of services to customers.

You will review technology advancements and customer requirements whilst ensuring agile working, assist in pre-sales work, providing technical expertise and strategic direction.

You’ll be able to provide and manage the scope of works required to deliver the solution, with a hands-on approach, carrying out the implementation when required.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF:

Microsoft Unified Communications experience is essential for this job role with at least two of the following technologies:

Skype for Business/Lync

Microsoft Teams

Exchange 2007 or above

Experience with Audiocodes/Sonus Sessions Border Controllers administration and support

SIP Trunks

Competent in working with SSL Certificates

Load balancing technologies administration and support

Understand core telephony concepts such as signaling, codecs, dial plans, phone number manipulation, call routing

Call quality analytics and reporting experience

Deep understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and infrastructure

Experience with Enterprise Voice deployment and rollout

Experience integrating IP and TDM based telephony systems

Exceptional troubleshooting skills, using methodical and logical approaches

Competent in server administration, installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server and accompanying roles such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange, Group Policy, SQL, RRAS

Administration and support of cloud solutions such as Office 365

Competent networking administration and troubleshooting skills in switching, routers and firewalls

Comfortable with installation of windows updates and service packs on servers whilst assessing business impact and risks associated with carrying out such work
