Test Engineer – Jonothan Bosworth

Test Engineer | £45,000 – £55,000 | Remote working

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently seeking a Test Engineer | Lead for one of our newest clients; an exciting, dynamic, and growing software company.

You will join a well-established company who are at the forefront of a new growth plan and underway with an ambitious program of work. Working with the latest technical stack you will help shape products for the next decade as well as create a new platform for the future.

THE BASICS:

As Test Engineer you will work in an Agile environment, planning and executing tests using the most appropriate test approach. Ensuring that the software delivered is fit-for-purpose in the planned timescales

You will be responsible for the creation and management of test data and test environments and create detailed bug/defect tickets

KEY SKILLS:

You will have experience in full stack testing using Selenium WebDriver or similar and Postman or similar for API Testing.

You will be comfortable Setting up testing solutions and building an automation suite of tests using the latest testing solutions, whilst developing test cases and executing these against agreed story acceptance criteria

Experience in Azure DevOps as a test tool with knowledge of some test frameworks and solutions

Strong background in software integration and system testing

Performance testing experience

ISTQB qualification would be an advantage

Travel to Gloucester twice a week.
