THE BASICS:
The ideal Senior Technical Architect will lead the Networks and Infrastructure team with an emphasis on providing high quality technical services & support, with responsibility for ticket ownership and following up on the most challenging issues. This job opportunity will suit a highly competent individual with strong communication & technical skills.
THE TECHNICAL STUFF:
Individuals with network troubleshooting and diagnostics (TCP/IP v4 and v6, DHCP, DNS, BGP, MPLS, VPLS, EVPN, VLANS, Firewalls, IVPNS, Routing) as well as VMWare vSphere (v5.5+) administration and design coupled with solution build and implementation skills will be sought after.
In addition, if you have any of the following certifications: JNCIA, CCIE & / or VCP you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
THE OTHER PRE-REQUESITIES:
Architects with experience working at the highest levels within a Telco or Hosting environment, with a passion for all things technology related and excellent all-round communication skills should apply.
As part of your role, you will manage a team to include an IP Networks Architect, a Linux Specialist Engineer and a Windows/VMWare Specialist Engineer – all focused on achieving the same end goal.
