Systems Engineer | London | up to £50,000 + bonuses
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working with a forward thinking, dynamic and exciting IT Service Provider based in East London.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Microsoft Systems Engineer to join a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for providing technical & project services; delivering high quality solutions : whilst troubleshooting and resolving networking & system issues.
THE BASICS:
If you can configure, optimise and maintain customer servers, systems & applications, whilst identifying opportunities to improve customer environments in conjunction with your technical colleagues to produce and develop standards framework documentation for new and emerging technologies we’d like to hear from you today.
The ideal Systems Engineer will be passionate about technology and possess an in-depth understanding and experience of Microsoft at Systems Engineer level, including Windows Server, Active Directory, System Center, Office365 and Azure. Engineers who can produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, with solid stakeholder management skills, and an ability to communicate technical solutions to different audiences, with a good understanding of ITIL Framework and Project Management principles are going to be of interest.
THE TECHNICAL SKILLS:
If you have Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop and/or NetScaler implementation and support experience, as well as Cisco (or similar) networking experience coupled with a knowledge of other Private and Public Cloud solutions : (VMware, AWS) – Microsoft technologies – SQL, Exchange, PowerShell as well as scripting and Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco or VMware engineer-level certifications you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
THE OTHER STUFF:
You will work from our clients’ head office in London; there may be some travel to client sites around London, and very occasionally, (paid) travel around the UK and/or Europe, but this is rare.
