Software Support Specialist | Gloucester | Up to £27,000

THE BASICS:
You will act as the first point of contact for the Support Team to troubleshoot technical issues with a SaaS solution.
You will identity and remedy technical queries quickly whilst working with the agile development teams to assist in the investigation and resolution of reported system defects.
Work with the analyst team to classify reported defects and update requests in order to identify patterns and trends.
This is not just a Support role as you will work closely with Technical Analysts to review complex requests and escalate when needed and coordinate with the Infrastructure team regarding application performance, stability.
Create and maintain SQL database update scripts using git-based secure control, create and deploy ad-hoc reports using MS SQL Server reporting services
THE TECHNICAL STUFF:
You will have experience working with a Relational Database Management System
Basic to intermediate level SQL skills, T-SQL
You will be confident, professional, along with strong ability to learn with high attention to detail
Commitment to continuous technical skills development is key
If you have experience working in a 2nd Line Support role, or similar position involving managing customer’s technical issues with a SaaS solution then this will go in your favour.
Basic to intermediate level SSRS reporting skills is beneficial along with experience with web application monitoring tools (New Relic, App Insights, etc.)
