Building on their ever-increasing global presence, our client is seeking to appoint a Senior Software Developer to support this continued growth.
THE BASICS:
As Senior Software Developer you will join the technical team, to design and code our clients’ software services, analysis tools and similar, whilst writing firmware for our clients’ monitoring instruments.
Developers with mentoring capabilities and the ability to ensure sales and support staff fully understand software products, their features and functions will be of interest.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge around back end server development, experienced in creating and maintaining APIs and microservices to support data storage and visualisation platforms. You will also support business development and the wider team with ongoing training around the solutions and platforms that are developed.
THE KEY SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will have knowledge in C & Python experience including numpy/scipy, as well as Java experience and the ability to write robust software that can run unattended for long periods.If you are currently using and developing for Linux or Unix-like systems and you have Version control (Git) experience, then please apply today.
Highly desirable qualities will include; programming in embedded or resource-constrained environments, as well as real-time programming
THE DESIRABLES:
Software Developers with AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2) preferred, Azure or Google Cloud, coupled with demonstrable use of Trello for task management in an Agile development environment will likely receive an immediate interview request.
