THE BASICS:

As the Social Media Manager you will be working with national and global brands – from esteemed motorcycle manufacturers to beverage companies and many more. Working within the Digital Marketing team you will report directly to the Digital Marketing Director.

If you live in or around the Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley area, this will be the ideal role for you.

THE PRE-REQUISITES:

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing, executing and delivering organic and paid social strategy and efficient day to day management of assigned accounts, focusing on delivering performance against agreed KPIs to include planning, executing, optimising and reporting on best-in-class paid social media campaigns through available social media marketing platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & SnapChat).

Working closely with the end Client, and the Digital Marketing Director and/or the Client Services team to communicate campaign strategy, progress and results will make up a significant part of your role, so if you like working on innovative initiatives, please be in touch. 

THE CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT:

Optimising and executing our client-partners methodologies against paid social plans utilising native platforms, third party and internal tools, as required to deliver efficient and profitable Paid Social campaigns is important.

So too is analysing the performance of campaigns, identifying opportunities to optimise, whilst facilitating changes to hit and exceed expectations.

If you can proficiently project manage, run and create campaigns; produce high quality client-facing reports, studies and presentations, including measuring forecasts vs actual and clearly articulating rationale for optimisation methodologies throughout campaigns this is the right job role for you.

THE EXPERIENCE:

If you have at least a couple of  years Paid Social experience, preferably having worked for a digital agency you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.

Strong project management & communication skills are a must, so too, is the ability to prioritise social optimisation actions.

THE CONCLUSION:

Social Media Managers who can maintain an in depth understanding of the marketplace and the social landscape to ensure delivery of best-in-class campaigns, whilst managing day-to-day relationships with account teams, clients, advertising partners and colleagues, with a  proactive approach and excellent written skills will be of interest.

Pro-actively contributing and supporting the Digital Marketing Director with research, insight and support around datasets that lead to effective paid, or cross-channel, media strategies and tactics will be important.
