Service Desk Analyst | Nr Guildford | circa £150/day
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently seeking to appoint a Service Desk Analyst on a contract basis for our key client; a managed cloud, infrastructure and IT consultancy provider based in Surrey.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. As Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing remote support to several customers, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical users.

THE BASICS:
The ideal Service Desk Analyst will be triaging incoming calls via telephone, team mailbox and service desk toolset. You will updating, progressing and closing tickets, meeting strict SLAs, ensuring all tickets are progressed and updated at regular intervals and identifying potential security incidents or major incidents with a wide scope of impact.
If you can produce documentation and knowledge-based articles where required and provide end-user support via remote technologies and telephone support we’d like to hear from you.
High levels of self-motivation and a proven ability to thrive in a busy working environment, with an ability to multitask and problem solve is important.
THE TECHNICAL STUFF:
If you have experience supporting Windows operating systems (Windows 7/10), supporting Microsoft Office applications and administrating Office 365 we’d like to hear from you TODAY.
Analysts / Engineers with experience imaging laptops and experience with hardware fault diagnosis, Active Directory users & Computers administration are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
THE DESIRABLE STUFF:
If you have any experience with Microsoft SCCM, Windows Server 2008 R2-2016, proxy technologies (Forcepoint/Mimecast), coupled with basic knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP) you will be sought after.
An understanding of ITIL operations module (incident management, request fulfilment and problem management) and of ISO 27001 principles, GDPR principles as well as a Microsoft MCSA/MSCE certification will be highly advantageous.
