If you are an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with the ability to provide technical expertise, control, and governance in the ongoing maintenance and BAU support of a broad range of Infrastructure and Cloud environments and services please apply TODAY!

Managed Cloud and Public Cloud Services will be your area of responsibility and expertise – providing technical know-how; controls and governance in the ongoing maintenance and BAU support of a broad range of infrastructure and cloud, environments and services.  

THE TECHNICAL STUFF:

As part of the technical delivery team, you will become the technical authority on the wide range of customer environments and services, preparing for the onboarding of new customers and services that consume Cloud Services. If you are a hands-on player-type, able to deal with technical escalations and implement infrastructure architecture, fostering, and maintaining critical vendor relationships and collaborating on and delivering business continuity and disaster recovery goals for customers we’d like to hear from you.
 

Individuals that know how to manage and ensure compliance of infrastructure related change control procedures will be of interest and those that can take technical ownership of the infrastructure, ensuring operational teams are maintaining and continuously improving standards and practices; creation of standards for design, implementation, and configuration will be of interest also.

THE ESSENTIALS:

Public Cloud – Azure (including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Azure AD, Azure Site Recovery); AWS

Hyper-V; VMware

SAN and file storage technologies

Back-up and recovery solutions (Veeam)

Proven System Centre skills; (SCCM, SCVMM, Intune)

Automation tools (PowerShell; Azure DevOps)

Demonstrable experience of technical environments – Data centre hosting; virtualisation (server and desktop); networking; authentication; storage; security and monitoring

Windows Server 2012/16/19

Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services/Group Policy/DNS/ADCS, Microsoft SQL Server

THE DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Monitoring solutions experience (SolarWinds NPM/IPAM/NCM/NetFlow)

Hands-On Networking Cisco routing & switching and ASA experience

Security best practice awareness (Adherence to ISO quality standards)

Knowledge of Service Desk systems, ideally ServiceNow

Technical design and testing plan creation.

THE CONCLUSION:
