Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Senior Infrastructure & Systems Engineer | London | circa £50,000

We’re looking for a 3rd Line Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to join our newest client; an IT Service Provider based in East London. If you have experience with Windows Server, AD, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, VMware or Hyper-V with a good appreciation of systems and networking technologies we’d like to hear from you today.

THE BASICS:
If you are a capable and experienced problem-solver who likes technical challenges; to include deploying Microsoft networks in on-premise and virtualised or ideally Azure environments then please get in touch.

Engineers with a strong background in support and maintaining systems; able to communicate ideas fluidly : with a basic understanding of systems architecture will thrive in this role.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF:

Engineers with skills around Exchange 2010 : 2016, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 : 2016, Microsoft Windows Server and Services (Failover Clustering, File/Print Services, DHCP) and good scripting abilities (especially Powershell) will be of interest.

Exposure to Office 365 deployments, SharePoint Online and a good working knowledge of major networking components, to include networking operating systems, basic configuration and maintenance; switches, router, load balancers and firewalls will most likely result in an immediate interview request.

Our client is keen to see engineers with demonstrable troubleshooting skills, and an ability to manage and deploy Hyper-V or VMWare.

Networking skills : (such as: WiFi, TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN) are also important and any experience of system migrations, system recovery and security will be desirable.

THE NICE TO HAVES:

If you have experience with Cisco firewalls and other networking equipment and / or any experience migrating systems to the Cloud (Office 365 & Google); VPN / remote users / site to site support we’d like to hear from you TODAY.

Friday 4th October between 10.00am -1.00pm
