Finance Project Manager | circa £435/day | London
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for a Project Manager with a full range of experience around ‘financial systems’ to aid our key client, based in Central London, as they continue to undertake a major transformation project.
We are looking for someone who has done a Chart of Accounts projects before. Our client has a complex ecosystem of interfaced finance systems so a Project Manager who is good technically (for understanding and testing interfaces) and who also has a good understanding of financial reporting is vital. A good application of knowledge, ownership and capability in relation to management of the various (financial) systems, is paramount.
Our clients’ key finance systems are Infor SunSystems, Civica PIP and Wax Web3.
THE BASICS:
We are looking for a Project Manager to work on finance systems projects including:
-Developing and implementing a new Chart of Accounts (requirements gathering in progress).
-Implementing new functionality that is being made available by the upgrade of Sun Accounts from v6.1 to v6.3.
-Implementing unused functionality in existing systems such as business rules (for coding payments) and allocations (apportioning payments).
THE DETAIL:
Individuals with a proven track record in delivering successful projects around planning and stakeholder management and previous experience of Sun accounts (ideally v6.3); of developing and implementing a new Chart of Accounts across multiple systems will be highly desirable.
THE CONCLUSION:
We are not looking for candidates with accountancy qualifications as you will be supported by a Finance Transformation Partner – we are looking for an individual who has operated as a Project Manager for at least 5 years, with a strong understanding and appreciation for Financial Software.
