IT Project Manager – Enterprise Platforms | London & Hertfordshire | up to £600/day
BASICS:
We are looking for a contract IT Project Manager (Enterprise Platform Upgrade), to be a transformative change agent and responsible for the delivery of strategic and enterprise-level technology solutions. In this role you will be driving a successful transition into enterprise-wide ‘business as usual’ solutions, work with both the programme team, third-party solution providers and internal software development teams to build/configure working solutions that meet the needs of the corporate business and operational sites.
The location is Central London and Remote/Hybrid Working.
PRE-REQUISITES:
Fundamental to this project is the delivery of the enterprise platform and the continuing upgrades and legacy decommissioning and groupwide implementation of the core platform (Microsoft Business Central / 4PS), integration layer (Logic Apps) and line of Business Tools (including: Causeway, OneStream, iTrent, Contina, Cohort), as well as developing realistic long term strategic roadmaps.
Managing and supporting a matrixed team, working as an integral part of the Digital Innovation Team, managing budgets, costing and forecasting, managing risks and issues to the project, implementing mitigation strategies and championing change whilst encouraging site-level adoption will be important
In addition, if you can monitor progress and report this in regular meetings with senior management and stakeholders, communicate expectations to team members and related business functions, and where appropriate, translate gathered requirements into a software development backlog item, you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Project Managers with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or another ERP platform and knowledge of Microsoft Power platform, Microsoft Logic apps and Azure will be highly desired. Hands on exposure to Scrum or other Agile working techniques and Prince2 or PMI certification will be highly desirable.
COMPETENCIES:
Product Management: third-party management, monthly budget, costing, and forecasting; new feature/module requests & evaluation.
Stakeholder Management: regular communications, ad-hoc communications.
Strategy: programme planning & road mapping and lookahead planning and cross function analysis.
CONCLUSION:
Project Managers with stakeholder management, SaaS supplier management and proven delivery and technical upskilling capabilities to facilitate and contribute to both process and technical design sessions, whilst translating complex technical solutions into simple and clear communication are who we are looking for.
