Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently working with a well-established global technology solutions and IT service provider, based in Surrey as they look for a Infrastructure/Technical Project Manager with several years’ experience delivering IT infrastructure projects. 

Their office location is near to Guildford, Surrey. Coupled with remote working and an ability to get to client locations such as London, M4 corridor and Bristol and prior experience working with/for an MSP will make you highly desired by our partner.

THE DETAILS:

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for capturing customer requirementsanalysing those requirements and establishing the time required to fulfil them, communicating with all stakeholders to clarify the desired outcome of a project along with properly scoping a project and managing client expectation in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities as the Project Manager will include; writing up all agreed project documentation, ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects, managing and motivating project personnel to achieve project objectives and setting the standards and methodology to be used in the projects.

If you can demonstrate industry-standard project management methodologies as well as being responsible for all aspects of a project from initiation, through to completion and handover, including managing day-to-day aspects along with an awareness of ISO, G-Cloud and/or PSN standards and requirement, we’d like to hear from you TODAY.

THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Azure, O365, Active Directory, Sharepoint, SCCM, on premise and public cloud.

You must have a strong background delivering multiple technical projects in networks and the Microsoft stack; preferably having worked in a consultancy environment, in permanent employment. You will also be working for SME clients to deliver small and medium sized projects covering O365 migrations and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) provisions.

Clients include Government organisations and those following Public Services Network (PSN).

THE COMPETENCIES:

Project Managers with the ability to build strong relationships and influence people at all levels with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a proven track record of delivering new projects into a live environment will be of interest.

If you can work to tight deadlines; with solid process design and management skills, documentation and authoring skills with an excellent eye for detail and are able to chair, facilitate and lead meetings, please send us your resume ASAP.

Producing SOWs (Statements of Work), RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies), and producing and maintaining project plans and budgetary reconciliation will be part of your regular activity. Communicating status reports and working to mitigate against risks is also important. So too is ensuring new clients are onboarded with efficiency.
