Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working with a leading international technology company with a focus on ‘security’ and ‘cloud-solutions’.  On the back of strong and continued growth, they are looking to identify a Pre-Sales Consultant to support their expanding business in the UK.

With successful operations in the Australasia / South East Asia region, this is fantastic job opportunity to spearhead growth in the UK & Europe.


As the Principal Pre-Sales Consultant, you will provide technical assistance and identify and rationalise requirements to develop quality, comprehensive and winning scopes of work and proposals. Any current Technical Engineer, Senior Manager, Pre-Sales Consultant or Solution Architect looking for a move into a Senior / Principal role will be of interest to us.

The ideal candidate will already have expertise in AWS technologies, and a deep understanding of how customer applications and services are best built and operated.

In short, we will consider applicants who have a technical background and an aptitude to transfer their technical knowledge to a security & lead consultancy focused role. 


AWS (Amazon Web Services) certification is vitally important.

Consultants able to offer high level solution design as a pre-sales activity (proposals and SoWs). White boarding with customers. Selecting AWS/DevOps technologies for use with customer’s existing ITS infrastructure will be of interest. There will be a level of initial consulting to understand customer requirements and existing infrastructure whilst also overlooking the deployment and implementation of major projects.

The ideal Principal must be able to work in an established organisation with ‘start-up’ style mentality & environment; able to split time (50% sales / 50% technical) and initially cover some delivery work, with the expectation that this will facilitate the growth of the team.

Helping customers to build a deep understanding of new cloud platforms and application architectures, complimented with a consultative selling and leadership style, is going to hold you in good stead.

Developing and delivering compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and discussions to drive awareness and adoption is also a key component.


You will have the opportunity to contribute to ‘the future shape’ for our clients’ organisation by demonstrating your ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges – understanding the concerns that come with storage, application, server, and network security.

Some delivery work will be performed out of our clients’ Sydney office, and the opportunity to travel to the Singapore and Sydney offices is an option for individuals who would like to travel and take in alternative cultures!


Consultants and Architects with several years’ experience with AWS, who can interpret customer needs : and are knowledgeable about security best practices should apply. This job opportunity will suit someone with strong customer-facing skills, solid commercial awareness and an ability to successfully complete scopes, proposals and tender responses in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
