Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working with one of our newest and most exciting clients based in Berkshire; an application provider & systems integrator delivering a range of services including management and monitoring software platforms, as they search for a highly-skilled and knowledgeable Mobile Hardware Business Development Manager.
In order to be considered for this fantastic job opportunity, the Mobile Hardware Solutions Business Development Manager must be able to ‘hit the ground running’.
THE BASICS:
Our client is currently driving ambitious growth in end-to-end mobile hardware turn-key and bespoke technical solutions, so this role requires a strong customer-focused executive to deliver tangible results by direct engagement, technical pre-sales and supporting the existing Sales teams directly with prospects, customers and partners.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate an ‘ambitious thirst’ to navigate through a rapidly changing and evolving market. The ability to negotiate at all levels is key as are the skillsets to provide strategic technical advice on ‘wireless mobility’.
THE PRE-REQUISITES:
- Responsible for all mobile hardware solution sales – managing all technical scoping of pre-sales activities through to successful deployment.
- The ‘go-to’ subject matter expert on all hardware solution offerings.
- Preparation and delivery of technical product presentations.
- Technical custom product creation and demonstration responsibility.
- Working with new and existing accounts on setting deployment and set up methodologies.
- Directly working with the Product Management team as a liaison to accounts around technical product requirements.
- Providing solutions to complex technical issues for highly-visible opportunities.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Several years successful Hardware Sales Solutions experience, ideally in a direct customer-facing pre-sales/sales engineer capacity.
- A self-starter with exceptional ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Proven knowledge of and experience in solution sales (for any M2M vertical market preferable).
- Solid understanding of the whole M2M/IoT eco-system and of related business models.
- Solid technical knowledge of mobile and IT networks.
- Confident negotiator at senior level.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- A sound understanding of Salesforce (CRM) would be a distinct advantage.
