Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for Software Developers to implement and integrate new systems (web and standalone applications) in a bid to aid our key client who are based in West Yorkshire, as they continue to grow organically and increase their service offering.

The ability to work from home is also an option.

THE BASICS:

As the Software Developer you will be designing, building, testing and implementing applications, using cutting edge technologies; working on both generic products and bespoke solutions. You’ll be working on new software development projects which will see you actively engage and work collaboratively with the whole business, in a fast paced but relaxed environment.

THE KEY SKILLS:

Developers with several years proven track record around using technologies such as: MVC Frameworks, Java, CSS, JQuery / AJAX & additionally, any exposure to Javascript will be sought after.

Any exposure to: Tomcat, Weblogic and/or Jboss will also be held in high regard.

THE OTHER STUFF:

You will be given the tools to work autonomously whilst being supported by the wider team; maintaining data integrity and security, whilst testing web systems for compatibility in all manner of browsers.

Developing, implementing and testing databases for our clients’ systems and web sites & portals will make up part of your day to day activity, so if you can work under your own initiative; and are able plan & implement methods of deployment for new developments we’d like to hear from you TODAY.

THE DESIRABLES:

Software Developers with experience and/or exposure to: Learner Management Systems (LMS) (e.g. Blackboard, Moodle), xAPI (tincan), RESTful web services, Linux server administration, Hibernate and MySQL are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
