Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working with an exciting organisation; an international sports product manufacturer/distributor based in Surrey, as they look to identify an IT Manager to work on their quest to become the ‘number 1’ service provider in their field of expertise.

THE BASICS:
As IT Manager you will be overseeing the development and maintenance of the IT strategic plan as well as driving and facilitating BAU and network infrastructure for the UK and Mainland Europe.
THE TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Individuals with MCSA, MSCE or equivalent certification(s), coupled with demonstrable working knowledge of: TCP/IP and Internet technologies, hosted telephony systems business process and databases will be of interest. So too will individuals with Windows Server 2008 / 2016 administration, AD, Microsoft Exchange 2007, Office 365 design, implementation and support, with cross functional knowledge and some exposure to Citrix XenApp and Microsoft SQL server 2005 / 2008 & system builds. If you also have software administration and security administration expertise, including knowledge of intrusion detection/prevention solutions then you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
THE PRE-REQUISITES:
IT Managers who can build relations with stakeholders by proposing, developing and securing agreement for the IT strategy, working closely with the CFO will be of interest, as too will those who can manage procurement for IT, whilst being responsible for the maintenance of all our clients’ IT infrastructure assets including software licensing and compliance & asset register of all IT assets and MAC (Moves, Additions, Changes) to the IT infrastructure.
If you can make recommendations to enhance functionality, maintain and upgrade software and hardware for key systems; maintain IT security (to include: Anti-virus, Firewall, SPAM filtering & Anti-Spyware technologies &security patching, and if you can ensure disaster recovery policies are adequate and properly managed you are likely to be of interest to our client.
Other desirables: Prince 2, ITIL & ITSM disciplines.
