Disaster Recovery / IT Business Continuity Project Manager | Remote | £500/day
BASICS:
We are looking for Project Managers to lead the BCP team on the strategy, vision and associated tasks, and advance the current Crisis Management-focused BCP policy to a wider Operational Resilience framework and policy.
If you can ensure operational resilience capability is optimised, and that industry wide best practice and accreditations are achieved, we’d like to hear from you.
By working closely with the IT function to ensure the effective deployment of DR/failover capability when invoked, and by being the primary point of contact for all operational resilience / BCM matters both for internal stakeholders as well as third parties, all while
delivering on customer outcomes of right culture, right information, right delivery, right targeting, right advice, and right post sales treatment, you are likely to receive and immediate interview request.
ADDITIONAL:
Project Managers with proven experience of analytical mapping of business processes and key customer, with an ability to develop real-world exercise scenarios that can test elements of operational resilience / business unit crisis management and IT continuity plans should apply today.
If you have demonstrable experience of working with regulators and business leaders to meet regulations, coupled with excellent stakeholder management skills – building effective working relationships across both business management and technical layers, we would like to hear from you.
Knowledge of systems / enterprise architectureapproach; current infrastructure and systems / application high availability and DR capabilities, including cloud resilience and experience of working to ISO practices and technology risk management processes will hold you in good stead.
SKILLS:
Deep knowledge of the overarching operational resilience rules and regulations. Experience of interpreting the rules and implementing operational resilience frameworks. Strong project management and change experience. Experience of implementing end to end BCP. Strong communications skills.

Project Managers who can create and embed the regular review process of impact tolerances and important business services, whilst developing consistent Operational resilience MI across the Group, with a good understanding of the regulatory environment relating to operational resilience and continuity will be of interest.
Assisting the business with an understanding of how to address self-assessment findings, and interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, across various levels in the organisation including senior leadership teams, in influencing key decisions will be highly sought after.
