THE BASICS:
As Integration Architect you will be joining an existing architecture team of 6 and will work across projects with existing clients as well as responding to RFPs with potential new clients.
You will be required to define, validate, and promote the appropriate strategies and/or tactical solutions to deliver business benefits whilst minimising effort and risks for opportunities, bids, and projects, both internally and externally.
You will be required to develop and assist with the strategy and architecture of IT-enabled business change, working closely with multiple client stakeholders.
You will support the design and implementation with expert knowledge of technology, technique, method, product or application in a particular technology stack, and a broad appreciation of architectural approaches.
You will align the technology with the business and customer goals, identifying benefits and risk mitigation approaches and promote bid and project technology strategy by stakeholder engagement.
KEY SKILLS:
You will have experience as an Integration focused Architect as well as experience as a Solution Architect in a fast-paced challenging environment.
We’re looking for you to have strong experience in design patterns, integrating distributed applications, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns and APIs, with good experience with various integration technologies including API gateways.
You will also have experience in technical governance, performing quality reviews, performing reviews of the architecture and design deliverables from technical teams and working collaboratively to help them fill in the identified gaps.
Experience of working across all the various stages of the project/product life cycle, right from pre-sales into operationalisation and support.
It would be desirable if you have experience of designing across cloud native solutions (Azure or AWS).
This role can be based in either the London, Milton Keynes or Birmingham offices with the flexibility to travel to the other office as well as client sites 1-2 days per week.
