Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for an experienced General Manager.
We are looking for someone to join our dedicated healthcare partner who is committed to enhancing well-being. As General Manager, reporting to the Director of Decontamination, you'll lead a team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare services.
In this role, you will provide clear leadership aligned with our partner’s vision and priorities. Managing the business area, you'll deliver strategic plans and collaborate with the Director on service strategies.
THE BASICS:
Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities and threats for services within the group, contributing to the organization’s strategy, and leading change management programs for service improvement.
Ensuring financial obligations are met, you'll act as an authorizing signatory for budgets and manage reporting on budget positions across the group.
In people management, you'll provide senior leadership, monitor workforce compliance, and ensure team well-being.
Your role extends to risk management, quality, and sterilization, where you'll develop and manage systems, resolve complaints, and support root cause analyses.
Additionally, you'll promote equality and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols. Your commitment to personal development and supporting colleagues' growth is also important.
THE SKILLS:
Requirements for this role include IT skills, excellent communication and people management experience, a proactive customer-focused approach, strong problem-solving skills, financial knowledge, and analytical skills. Experience in Lean methodologies, production, supply chain, or service management is crucial, along with a degree or equivalent education, NEBOSH certificate, and experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in Decontamination and Sterilization Services.

If you have a track record of managing the delivery of a range of complex services and for implementing and managing systems and processes and can take responsibility for managing the complex nature of a business, ensuring that the appropriate strategic plans are delivered within the operating framework, we’d like to hear from you.
Providing senior leadership and influencing service design and delivery across the organisation; supporting and maintaining all ‘risk assessments’ as required by legislation and adhering to a ‘clean as you go’ method, is important.
Individuals with commercial and supply chain experience and of implementing continuous improvement programmes; a working understanding of Quality Management Systems, preferably Medical Devices ISO: 13485 and working knowledge of the Healthcare sector and decontamination and Sterilisation Services, will be sought after.
