BASICS:

As DevOps Manager you will manage the Development function, and provide management, support, and delivery of the UK business systems. 

You will work closely with the Infrastructure Manager and architects to ensure systems meet the infrastructure and security requirements and be focused on providing excellence in application development. 

You will have Leadership/Management experience, as this role will be required to ensure the development function works to Agile principles in delivery of projects. 

You will be a champion of DevOps, be able to bridge the gap to the business, and translate needs to a proper solution.

KEY SKILLS:

You will come from a Scrum Master or Product Owner background and will understand development. This is a strategic role and will have line management responsibilities.

Knowledge in Data Modelling is key along with DevOps, Agile, Microsoft Azure, and Stakeholder management.

You will believe in DevOps and embed this within the organisation.

You will be enthusiastic and passionate, confident in your approach and can bring new ideas, articulate problems, be collaborative, able to build relationships, and open to doing things differently, so can improve as a company.

You will manage and coordinate the day-to-day tasks of the ICT Developers, Sprint planning and refinement responsibility with teams

You’ll be responsible for the planning of short- and long-term delivery objectives for development and ensure full training and handover to Support Technicians and ICT Developers
