Data Quality Analyst | Hertfordshire & London & Remote | £Negotiable
BASICS:
As the Data Quality Analyst, you will assist with the preparation for and implementation of the new ERP system with a comprehensive data solution. Our client-partner requires an analyst who can take responsibility for the quality and governance of their data, as they are keen to ensure that they maximise the related benefits from moving to an ERP system, along with avoiding any issues from having incomplete or missing data in the system at go live.
This role has a crucial part to play and will provide input to planning activities, reporting and playback sessions, co-ordination with functional subject matter experts and the data team.
It will also be an evolving role, which responds to the needs of the project in line with the overall goals.
KEY MEASURABLES:
– Identify the most likely points in a data processing sequence where data quality issues occur.
– Understand how the different layers of an application interact with each other.
– Codify data monitoring & data cleansing rules.
– Understand the relationship between data quality, data stewardship and data security at a detailed level.
– Have technical knowledge of the GDPR and how they relate to wider data quality issues.
CONCLUSION:
Analysts with a pro-active approach to management of data, experience of working in a ‘record to report’ manner with good stakeholder management and an understanding of reporting tools, ETL process and data lakes, coupled with strong data quality improvement experience should apply today.
