Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists continue to support a key client who are going through an exciting phase of their Business Transformation. Architecture Practise plays a key role in our client realising their vision of a digital transformation and an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect is an important part of that journey.

THE BASICS:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our client, who can provide insights and strategic direction towards the adoption of the latest cloud technology and services such as Platform as a Service (PaaS).

From a strategic standpoint, you must be able to create solution architectures including target blueprints, options, roadmaps and business cases; describing evolution of infrastructure solutions, with a good understanding of the business user and application specific requirements.

Regarding the architecture side of things, you will work with a Business Analyst to understand the business requirements so that solution options provide the best fit against the requirements.

The ability to architect new innovative solutions on/across cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and other private/public IaaS/PaaS platforms will also hold you in good stead, as too will be the ability to ensure solutions that are secure and aligned to appropriate internal InfoSec standards and market good practices.

THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Cloud Architects who can define the approach and migrate workloads to a private or public IaaS/PaaS provider, with demonstrable experience around Cloud Integration, Azure IaaS and Azure PaaS should apply TODAY.

Exposure to Azure IAM and other security solutions in the stack (eg: AIP), and an ability to demonstrate solid business and organisational skills with a passion for emerging tools, trends and techniques and all things technology is likely to result in an interview request.

THE DESIRABLES:

Architects with experience of Amazon AWS, VMware cloud and other public cloud platforms and architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman), coupled with Enterprise Architecture Tools (Eg: iServer) and exposure to IT governance structures should get in touch ASAP.

THE CONCLUSION:

If you have a proven track record for thinking beyond current-state technology issues; operating in a client facing capacity : able to communicate proposed architecture within projects and gain project approval from TDA (Technical Design Authority), coupled with an ability to actively engage with other Architects in complimentary disciplines through regular attendance at ARB (Architecture Review Board), then you will be highly sought after.
