Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for an ambitious Client Manager to join a dynamic and rapidly growing professional accountancy and taxation firm based on the outskirts of Bournemouth.
If you are a Client Manager with a track record of managing your own portfolio, with considerable commercial experience to freelancer and consultancy businesses, then this is the right job opportunity for you.
THE BASICS:
As Client Manager, you will be the primary point of contact between our clients’ customers and service offering, whilst acting as Personal Accountant and Adviser to a client portfolio of up to 250 clients providing planning advice, and tax and accounting support. You will also manage multiple portfolios including onboarding of new business, delivery of internal KPls and the supervision of colleagues in the support departments of accounts and taxation.
THE SKILLS:
Ideal candidates will possess a mix of good practical tax knowledge combined with general accounting experience, preferably with several years ‘hands on’ experience gained within a small to medium sized accountancy firm in a client facing role.
Tax plays a major part in this role; accordingly, you should demonstrate a strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE, Self-Assessment tax and corporation tax for small companies and their directors, and the use of IT and various software packages is widespread and will involve accurate communications and effective time management.
If you have solid commercial awareness and sound communication skills coupled with good organisational abilities and an attention to detail this role should be of interest to you.
Ideal candidates will need to build trust and relationships with a range of customers from first time freelancers through to established IT contractors and whilst it is not essential to hold formal qualifications in either accounting (AAT/ACCA/ICAEW) or taxation (AIT/CTA) these qualifications are likely to result in an immediate interview request.
