Care Home Manager | Nr Bromley | up to £70,000 FTC

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently representing a charitable service provider who deliver first-class healthcare solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered [Care Home] Manager to join one of our clients’ homes on a fixed term contract for at least 12 months.

THE LOCATION:

Your place of work will be in the South East London; London Borough of Bromley area, leading a dedicated team of professionals who provide social care. The home that you will manage has an excellent reputation with an Outstanding CQC rating and currently has a full occupancy level.

THE BASICS:

As Interim Home Manager you will be accountable to the Head of Operations, managing, leading and motivating staff to provide high standards of care and services.

Our client has a great philosophy, finding new ways to enrich residents’ lives within the home and fundamental to the role is ensuring compliance with CQC KLOES as well as other statutory legislation. You will manage the home’s budgets, identify new opportunities; develop and deliver the homes’ business plan within agreed financial targets.

You will also create and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders as well as with the wider community.

THE EXPERIENCE:

Managers with demonstrable care home management experience, ideally with a level 7 qualification in management (and a nursing qualification, would be great, but not essential).

A proven track record of achieving statutory compliance with CQC and other relevant legislation and a good set of financial management skills, able to confidently manage budgets and achieve financial targets whilst marketing the home to its optimum potential by building and maintaining key relationships with stakeholder in the local community will hold you in good stead.

Individuals with an ability to delegate, problem solve and prioritise workloads and who are passionate about individual and person-centred care for older people are likely to receive an immediate interview request.

THE OTHER STUFF:

This is a fixed term contract, covering long term illness, which is likely to last 12 months (and likely extend beyond); eventually converting into a substantial post.

There is a direct reporting line of 5.

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS:

This is likely to be 1x face to face interview in Central London (HQ) and the initial dates we have are:

Tuesday 24th September (all day)

Thursday 26th September (between 2pm : 5pm)
