Business Analyst | £315/day – £375/day | North London
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for an IT Business Analyst to support a key client, based near Camden, in London, as they continue to undertake major transformational changes.

As Business Analyst you will work with the business to understand and analyse requirements and be viewed as a ‘trusted advisor’

Business Analysts with the ability to take on the role as product owner from time to time will be sought after.
This job opportunity with suit someone who can produce high quality business requirements documentation (such as requirements specifications, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria) and detailed technical requirements specifications (such as data models, ER diagrams, UML models).
If you have the ability to combine “soft” influencing, persuasion and consultancy skills with “leadership” qualities that encourage business leaders to positively respond and can clearly communicate with stakeholders on feasibility and effort analysis, whilst working closely with the Development and Testing teams throughout the project lifecycle : driving the UAT with the business users, which includes performing some parts of the UAT, providing test scenarios and training to the business users, then we’d like to hear from you.
Actively managing the mitigation strategies and communicating regularly with the project team members, the IT leadership, Business Stakeholders, and Project Sponsors are vital to the proper execution of this role.
THE KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Do you have several years of experience of working as a Business Analyst in a busy environment?
How about experience in soliciting and documenting requirements using a variety of styles and techniques?
Can you review test cases and test plans : negotiate testing scope and timelines, review test scripts, and review defects raised?
Any Business Analyst with demonstrable experience around managing the full project life cycle and use of the appropriate controls at each step : with Agile or iterative methodologies and terminology, and the delivery of transformation projects from conception to implementation is likely to receive an immediate interview request.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with a ‘results driven’ mindset, with the energy and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment where the pace of response and leadership is critical to success is highly sought after.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BSc Degree in a relevant subject.
PMI-PBA Certified or equivalent (desirable)
