Azure Consultant | Reading | Up to £60,000
As an Azure Cloud Consultant, you will be delivering Cloud Advisory consulting services across multiple clients in the UK. You will deliver public cloud focused consulting services, providing a mix of design and hands-on implementation.

THE BASICS:
Contribute to specialist Public Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture.
Deliver client engagements, designing and building/implementing Cloud Architectures and migration projects.
Lead the design and/or deployment of cost-effective Cloud solutions for either stand-alone engagements or as part of a larger programme.
Support the development of solutions for an opportunity, bid or project.
KEY SKILLS:
As Azure Consultant, you will have experience of public cloud architectures and migration strategies, with a good understanding of the different factors which influence or inhibit Cloud adoption, and will be able to guide clients to make the right choices.
You must have a good knowledge of the Azure product lines as the backup, Azure AD, AAD Connect, Azure DevOps, applications, monitoring, SQL, storage, network, etc
Be able to demonstrable Azure experience required and at least 5 years working in an IT technical role.
Detailed understanding of Azure IaaS & PaaS capabilities, features, and services and/or a detailed understanding of typical cloud-native architectures.
Experience of working in a DevOps environment, supporting developers CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages and IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible etc.
You will be comfortable presenting solutions both in written documents and workshop situations, leading and facilitating discussions around public cloud solutions at a high level, with excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
Need to know the best practices and be able to guide and/or design an Azure environment with an emphasis on the security
Azure certifications highly desirable, but not essential
The role may require travel to other client sites
