THE BASICS:
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently working with an exciting UK deep-tech organisation developing cutting-edge voice and facial biometric authentication technology.
Our client-partner requires an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to configure, deploy and productionise their cloud platform, before transferring knowledge to their internal engineering team.
This is not a traditional ‘body shopping’ contract.
Instead, you'll be brought in to deliver a clearly defined, from an environment that has already been developed.
Your role is to build the AWS infrastructure correctly, automate deployments, document everything and ensure the internal team can support the platform long after you've finished.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deploying the biometric platform into AWS.
- Building production-ready infrastructure.
- Configuring EC2, IAM, VPC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3 and CloudWatch.
- Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Producing clear operational documentation.
- Delivering practical training sessions.
- Advising on AWS security best practice.
- Working directly alongside the CTO and engineering team.
THE EXPERIENCE:
- AWS Infrastructure.
- Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Linux.
- Python or Bash scripting.
- Infrastructure automation.
- Production deployments.
- Documentation.
- Technical training.
Previous experience within AI, Machine Learning, Biometrics or Computer Vision would be highly advantageous.
