Application Support Specialist | Hertfordshire & Remote | up to £50,000
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide Application Support as part of a team that serves over 3000 internal users.
As the new Application Support Specialist, you will be reporting directly to the ICT Application Delivery Manager, focused on providing excellence in Application Support, with an ability to think outside of the box and communicate well at all levels.
You will be responsible for maintaining & supporting a wide range of applications including HR, Finance & Power Platform. This role will be key in supporting 3rd Party Applications as well as our client-partner’s in-house integration layer.
Whilst this role is not overly technical, we are looking for people with keen to learn new things about new technologies.
BASICS:
If you can take ownership of queries, perform initial investigations & diagnosis through to fault resolution, primarily using business & process knowledge to understand and resolve issues whilst making sure that documentation is completed where necessary, you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
PRE-REQUISITES:
We are looking for someone to provide operational support including running daily and monthly reports, delivering support to existing business users and providing application configuration & maintenance on business facing systems.
If you can actively work on identifying application system changes, enhancements & developments, whilst working as part of a project team on new implementations & system upgrades, we would like to hear from you.
Taking part in user meetings & assisting in presenting issues & solutions, and in defining acceptance tests whilst ensuring all incidents are managed within service level agreement is vital.
Application Support Specialists with exposure to L&D systems, incident management systems and are able to pick-up technical specification, should apply.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Experience with Sharepoint, Azure and Office 365 would be great, but not a necessity.
Previous exposure to Service Now, ERP solutions like 4PS, payroll and finance software like MHR and L&D software like Saba would be highly desired.
